1. Placeholder Site up and running with limited functionality by April 30, 2010.
- Site will have some very basic functionality
- "sign up" page to begin gathering contact information of interested individuals
- a development timeline / blog with information on where myplant is going and the expected launch date(s)
- "pretty" enough that people do sign up
2. Have an Animated Audio/Video demo ready for Dan by May 4, 2010
- 60 to 90 seconds long
- quick demo of the site
- Include some clade animation and description about the project
- Will be showing to NSF representatives, so should be as polished as we can manage
3. Have a Demo ready by May 21, 2010. In time for the presentation at iPlant Conference May 24-26, 2010.
- All above in 1 + initial clade structure in tree viewer
- Basic group functionality
- Group communication
- Participation modes for users with specific Roles & responsibilities.
- Add/Remove groups/clades.
- Notification Services.
- Demo of www.My-Plant.org User Experience.
