  • A draft of the agenda was provided. The structure needs to be formalized - meeting times, break times need to be added and speakers confirmed. Breakout rooms need to be confirmed.
  • It was suggested that the meeting begin with an overview of iPlant since all the attendees will not be familiar with it.
  • There are a lot of topics on the agenda may need to prioritize by topics of interest or appropriate discussion sessions.
  • We need to decide how much time will be allotted to each speaker. It was suggested 15 - 20 minutes for each topic introductions and 30 -35 minutes for each speaker.
  • Time should be scheduled for iPToL members to meet, it can be an informal time such as over dinner, but it is important to have face to face all hands meeting for those attending. Discussion should include what is it we want to present to the community. Saturday evening seemed to be the preferred day for this meeting as many would be flying out on Sunday afternoon.
  • Under Education, Outreach and Training it might be more topical to discuss what we have in mind for APWEB2
  • Sheldon - What do you want to see happen at the project meeting? This will help us drive what is on that agenda.
  • Pam and Doug - We would like to find out what the different groups are doing, what progress is being made? Questions like who has been hired, what positions have been filled or still need to be filled?
  • Sheldon, Dan, Sonia and Michael can participate in an overview of each working group and then we can have a question and answer session. They will also discuss how the working groups are structured.
