Using Metadata

Using metadata

You can add and edit graphical annotations and textual annotations to resources you own. The annotations are saved with the resource and can be edited.

Graphical annotations are objects, such as circles, points, or other shapes, that are added to the image in order to highlight areas of interest for future analysis or other purposes.

Textual annotations help you to more quickly retrieve the resource for purposes of analysis, categorization, and more. Each annotation is added to a master list from which you can add and edit the name and value of the tag. You also can extract the the metadata and export as XML or CSV.

You can create metadata templates to preconfigure a set of metadata fields with optional default values.

You also can extract metadata.
