Convert text files with DOS or Mac line breaks to Unix line breaks. Has lots of file conversion options, but this version is for the simple removal of improper end-of-line (EOL) characters. Ensures uploads are unix/linux-compatible.

To use dos2unix, import your data in any text format.

Test data for this app appears directly in the Discovery Environment in the Data window under Community Data -> iplantcollaborative -> example_data -> dos2unix

Input File(s)

Use test_window.fa from the directory above as test input.

Parameters Used in App

When the app is run in the Discovery Environment, use the following parameters with the above input file(s) to get the output provided in the next section below.

Change output file name to test_unix.fa

Output File(s)

Expect a file named as set in the app, as output. For the test case, the output file you will find in the example_data directory is named test_unix.fa
