OSU checklist

As per our meeting this morning at 10AM, Aug. 7, 2012.

HIGH Priority items:

1.General descriptive document, including goals and structure.

Handouts [When do we print? Sat or Sun?-MF]** Instructors
- Sponsors
- Significance / Expectations of Workshop
- Important links to OSU Wiki, iPlant WIKI, iPlant DE (all have instructions for things like how to log on to...)
- List of software to be used (?) [not necessary?-MF]

2. Daily Schedule. Rough is fine, with links as needed but we need to check operations on OSU's systems. .

Day1:
- Monday lectures, software, tutorials, manuals, links needed immediately. Modules must be finalized experimentally on OSU computers. When/how can we check the modules?
- Group assignments

- Eric: Do you need local (@OSU) forms/manual/worksheets? If you do, we need to get them in-house for printing early. Will you have your own exercise capabilities? Will all of CoGe be within the DE? Will you be using tutorials from this website: http://genomevolution.org/wiki/index.php/Tutorials ?

3. Manuals, handouts, anything in "hard" form that needs preparation early.

Haibao: What manuals do you need printed? Do they REALLY have to be printed or can they be made available on the OSU WIKI? Either way is doable, but we need early notice to order materials unless you plan on printing the manuals and bringing them.

Priority Items:

1. Decisions on datasets. Canned or "real"? Please delineate or suggest below (please be specific, with link, if possible).

2. Basic, fundamental statistics and reasons for choosing based on above. (added by PH)
