Subject: Re: Touch bases tomorrow?

Behind the hidden curtain… take a look at dapple.iplantcollaborative.org/de under the In Progress tab. There are a few issues I need to document before turning people loose, not the least of which is that one needs to combine all files for a given library into tarballs and that pair-end files need to be interleaved into a single file. All can be done using tools in the DE and you only need to do it once before assembly. But enforcing these rules saves me a large amount of exception handling and makes the job staging process work better.

But.. I have 4 concurrent 64 core assembly jobs running on Ranger - thats more cores than the UA iPlant cluster has...

Really cool!  How do I access this?  I don't see it from the live site.

Taken from the current build of the DE…. there's an equivalent screen for the BLASTX pipeline.

Any chance we can meet tomorrow?  Is ASPB still a target?

Thanks,
