Notes
Frequency of Meetings
- There was discussion about whether to meet every two weeks or once a month during summer.
- Doreen noted that there had been early talk of having joint meetings between the iPToL and iPG2P groups so as to capitalize on synergies instead of possibly duplicating effort. Those discussions had raised the possibility of merging the two GC projects.
- Steve W suggested putting a motion on the table to meet monthly during summer, revisiting the issue in fall.
- There also was a request to set the meeting agenda farther in advance.
- Those who were on the call agreed they would prefer monthly meetings over the summer.
- Martha will poll those who were not on the call to see if they agree to the motion.

Action Items
- Martha: Poll those who were not on the call to see if they agree to monthly Steering Committee meetings during summer instead of every two weeks. The frequency of meetings will be revisited in fall.
- Martha: Raise the issue within iPlant about whether there should be joint meetings of the iPG2P and iPToL groups to build synergy and if the projects should be merged?
