Ideas to address the low activity on My-Plant

• iPlant hire a curator of the site to write short articles, encourage activity, etc.  Possibly a part-time student for the role.

• Promoting my-plant as a way to achieve Broader Impacts for our NSF grants

• Discussed how my-plant might interface with iDigBio and NSF's ADBC program

• Pam mentioned Michael Nielsen, his "open science" push, and how our current academic culture doesn't know how to credit contributions to things like my-plant, blogs, etc.  See michaelnielsen.org.
