Mutual Education Meeting at TACC November 6th and 7th, 2009

iPG2P Grand Challenge, Visualization Working Group

From the plant biology point of view, the goals of the meeting are to:

  • present some current plant biology problems to our iPlant and TACC colleagues in computational sciences;

  • spell out specific needs for visualization tools to gain insight into those problems;

  • respond to the computational experts in our group who will present ideas and plans to meet those needs; and

  • jointly formulate action plans for the immediate future, based on the mutual education that has taken place over the course of the meeting.
